Dcs A10C Thrustmaster Warthog Profiles How To Operate AndAnd besides being a beauty, Im now learning how to operate and fly the A-10C on DCS.A question that probably was asked, but I never did find a good answer to is - how to handle the engine startup.Yes, you know, the part where the throttles do not move until you press that keyboard shortcut.
Obviously, that ruins the immersion, and my question to you pros, is how to do it using my beautiful hotas Best, J. When you lift the throttle up and back on your controller, DCS sees that as a button press, and I bound that to the control for the same thing in the sim. There is a control called Left Engine Throttle Set Off and a matching one for the Right. Take it to zero then lift the throttle handle and move it past zero to -10 or something, then youre in idle cut off. There is a detente if you flip it and screw it back in Once you screw it back in upside down, you will be aloud to lift the throttle out of idle and in to cutoff, and the same thing inversely. There is ALSO an afterburner detente which you can use on the F-15 or any afterburner module, its pretty sweet. You may have to play with the throttle calibration settings a bit to get it right - but this is an awesome tool on the HOTAS I didnt realize until a buddy showed me 6 months after I got it.
